The Resolution of Poverty: Education by Yangee

The Resolution of Poverty: Education
 Yangee

People have kept trying hard and hard to develop their lives better. As this circumstance, their lives have been received the reward from their efforts and they now deserve to live with quality services such as abundant medical service and healthy environmental condition. However, these quality lives are not for everyone, but they are only for the wealthy people. Those who have enough money enjoy receiving quality services, but most of people such as the poverty not only being living in the developing countries but also being living in developed nations, especially children who have parents who place low income jobs, are now struggling with those and spending very hard time in school, society and elsewhere. They have just seen discrimination with emasculated. The main reason for them to be discriminated is lack of education. People trying to help for them have overlooked the power of education and they have merely tried to send some medicine and supplement that is not enough to cover all problems. There is a thought that poverty is rooted from fundamental problems such as continuous malnutrition or rotten politics and so forth. However unlike their expectation more fundamental problem that should be solved is uneducated rates. Discovered researches give significant proofs that the learned poverty is very important to make end of the poverty. Even if its solution is very long-term process, its efficiency for solving poverty is the best.
Education gives many advantages to many parts of lives from basis of lives to higher consciousness for fighting with unjust. According to Hilde Johnson who is the deputy executive director of UNICEF, “Education is the most effective, and in fact, the only way to get rid of poverty” (Bae, 2010). She introduced the circumstance that how education reduces and further finish the basic problem for living humanly. She told that if women would be educated, the family that women involve should totally change in variety parts of their lives such as hygiene and health issues. They would also let their children be educated and make them to fight with social injustice through teaching social responsibilities and right (Bae, 2010). Here is the example to support her idea. The Care organization insists that families that have educated mother immunize far roughly 50% higher than other families that have mother who did not go to school. It also mentions that “while HIV/AIDS spreads twice as quickly among uneducated girls than to among girls that have even some schooling” (Care Organization). This result comes from the women’s ability that has some limitation to earn money. Therefore they tend to make effort in household and childcare.
Here is another thought that education prevent to reproduce class. This idea has usually prevailed in developed countries since this phenomenon often appear in diversity of classes (Arrighi & Maume, 2007). By world being capitalized, quality of education has also been capitalized. The rich has good education and the poor has bad quality one or even nothing. As this circumstance, the child who has rich parents would replace parents’ position of society. In contrast, the poor child who does not have good quality education would take place of low position of society where he/she’s parents would place (Arrighi & Maume, 2007). Maybe some cannot very enjoy studying because of their situation as childcare, working for maintaining the family and scarce money to go school (Berrick, 1995). However through learning and training, they could have the sight that unfair social structure or laws. This gives them power to fight with upper classes and modify inclined structure only for upper people. For example, in Korea all parents tend to give their children opportunities to have quality education although they are living in marginal lives. Their children finally go into society by going to college or taking jobs. They notice something wrong in society as college fee or lack of chance to take jobs. Tuition fee is usually for luxurious environment of employee of university not for quality service or education for students. Now they have fought with government for half price of tuition fee and they almost won. How they could do it? It is because they have sight for finding wrong things in society. Education gives low class or middle class a voice to insist their right to upper class logically. It is only way to prevent to reproduce class and to unfair social structure.
To sum up, there is not debt that education is one of the best methods to solve the poverty. What way could solve the fundamental reasons of poverty. Giving some supplement or welfare is not enough to cover all of the poverty and it only helps for surface of the poverty not helping it deeply. Education is not merely working for preventing to class reproduction and basis of lives. It is also working for many things that upper class does like that low class people to be educated. That is why ancient heads of countries did not give any school opportunity before the citizen to be enlightened. Therefore, through education people learn how to maintain their lives and their right to overcome the poverty and for better lives.
